Basics Guidelines for Using TheBIGWiki.com

• Owners of pages on TheBIGWiki.com MUST post content that is relevant to their word(s) purchased. Pages found to have irrelevant content may be shut down.
• Purchasing of trademarks (like "Sony") is prohibited unless you own the trademark
• Page owners are encouraged to update the content of their pages on a regular basis.
• Spam and excessive advertising unreleated to the page's word(s) is prohibited. You may, however, sell items, link to websites, and post ads (from Google or other companies)
• TheBIGWiki.com does not allow x-rated content or links to x-rated sites. Pages found to contain such content will be shut down and the page will be made available to someone else to buy. The page owner will not be provided a refund.
• TheBIGWiki.com reserves the right to judge content appropriate for the site. Judgment calls made by TheBIGWiki.com is final.

Guidelines for Choosing the Right Word

• One to three word combinations are permitted.
• Choose a word that is specific and relevant to the content you will be posting. For example, if you are listing Massachusetts Yoga Instructors, instead of choosing "Yoga Instructors" you may want to choose "Massachusetts Yoga Instructors" instead.
• The sale of trademark names is strictly prohibited other than to trademark owners.
• TheBIGWiki.com words or word combinations MUST be real words. Made up words or jibberish is not allowed.

Guidelines for Good Content

• A significant portion of the content on your page must directly relate to your word(s).
• Use a variety of different content on your page to make it relevant and interesting to visitors.
• TheBIGWiki.com offers a very comprehensive set of content tools currently available to wiki sites. Our tools allow you to post a variety of content including text, images, links, photo galleries, blogs, calendars, advertising, and much more.
• Update your content regularly to keep visitors coming back. Interactive pages (such as sub-wikis, forums, and blogs) provide the best opportunity for fresh content.

Guidelines for Text Content

• The text you post on TheBIGWiki.com cannot be defamatory or slanderous of an individual, group, or company.
• We may choose to disallow text content at our discretion.
• Text content cannot be pornographic or offensive in nature.

Guidelines for Image Content

• You must own the rights to the image(s) you post.
• TheBIGWiki.com does not allow pornographic images nor do we allow images with links to pornograpic sites.
• We may choose to disallow graphic content at our discretion.
