McDonalds is the largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants serving about 68 million customers daily in 119 countries.

The company is headquartered in the United States and begain in 1940 as a barbecue restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald.  Then in 1955, businessman Ray Croc joined the company as a franchise agent and purchased the company from the McDonald brothers.
